Our Production Company

Our Productoion company

The production company i think would relate to our detective style genre most is Silver Pictures.

Silver Pictures is an American film production company founded by Hollywood producer Joel Silver during 1985. All movies after Ricochet have been distributed by Warner Bros. and its subsidiary New Line Cinema.
In 2012, Joel Silver and Warner Bros. ended their 25-year production, marketing, and distribution relationship. This is due to Joel Silver growing increasingly upset with how Warner Bros. had been handling the marketing and releasing of the films his company produced.
In 2012, Joel Silver and Universal Pictures struck a 5-year marketing and distribution deal, starting with the Liam Neeson action thriller Non-Stop on February 28, 2014. Universal Pictures will not be a production partner with Silver Pictures, only a distributor.

Films By Silver Pictures:

Silver Pictures will be a good preduction company for us as the films they have produced in the past have a similar target audience of 16 and onwards as alot of the films produced by them contain quite alot of action/violence and contains a narrative that would appeal to people 16+ such as quite intellectual mystery films and gritty hardcore action films whereas people undo the age of 16 may like a more continuous film that doent need much brain activity and can sit and enjoy the film instead of sitting down and try to work out the plot of a film like a detective. Also they have produced films very similar to the detective/mystery genre we are doing, especially the Sherlock Holmes franchise that has been a heavy inspiration to us and how our opening titles play out.
